Edible oil solvent extraction knowledge
The oil residue inside oil cake is about 6.5% after oil press machine , this part of oil will be wasted if without oil solvent extraction machine. After oil solvent extraction machine , the oil residue inside meal is less than 1%, which greatly increases oil yield.Solvent extraction fits for pre-press extraction of high-oil-content materials and direct once time extraction of low-oil-content materials.

Edible oil solvent extraction introduction:
(1) Function: Extract oil from oil cake by n-hexane solvent.
(2) Use range: Solvent extraction fits for pre-press extraction of high-oil-content materials and direct once time extraction of low-oil-content materials
(3) Main parts: The extraction series includes extractor, toaster, 1st evaporator, 2nd evaporator, stripping tower, condenser, etc.
Edible oil solvent extraction main process:
(1) The pressed cake (form prepressed workshop) send to cooking vegetable edible oil extraction machine by the scraper conveyor. Mixed oil will extracted from the pressed cooking vegetable edible oil cake by the solvent. After this step, we will get cooking meal and mixed oil.
(2) Cooking vegetable edible oil meal will sent to the toaster. Through the toaster, the solvent will separate from the meal. The solvent goes to condenser and is reused to cooking vegetable edible oil extraction machine.
(3) Mix oil from the cooking vegetable edible oil machine enters into 1st evaporator and 2nd evaporator, most of the solvent in the mix oil is separated.
(4) The mix oil from 2nd evaporator goes to stripping tower and almost all the solvent is separated. From the stripping tower, we can get crude oil and solvent. The solvent is sent to condenser and is reused to cooking vegetable edible oil extraction machine.

Production methods mainly include the batch type and continuous two kinds. According to leaching methods and can be classified into immersion, spray type and hybrid three.
2.Mixed oil evaporation system
The mixed oil concentration:10%-40%
Residual solvent index:(40-1000)ｘ10-6
Capacity:10-3000T/D
According to the properties of oil type, mixed oil concentration, crude oil residual solvent index and different heating medium, using different process plan.
3.The wet meal desolventizing
Desolventizing time:30-60min
Meal discharge temperature: DTDC Type < 60℃
Capacity:10-3000T/D
Desolution equipment are generally designed to exsolution combination device combined with roasted dregs.
4.The solvent recovery system
The solvent recovery:90%-95%
Capacity:10-3000T/D
Efficient recovery of solvent in the tail gas are the main measures: to control and reduce the exhaust volume; reducing the exhaust temperature to reduce the solvent content to reach the emission standards.
